Such a Scam and Bad Exprience

SUCH A SCAM! I hired Best Fit Movers in Orange County to move my home 3.5 weeks ago. I originally booked 2 movers and on moving day, the company called to ask me if I would pay for a 3rd to get the job done faster. I agreed and the 3rd mover was on his phone almost the entire time. The leader of the group told me he would be taking intermittent 15 minute breaks to be on his phone, which I told him that I would expect that to be deducted from the labor cost at the end of the day. Then, when they were driving the moving truck to my new house, they stopped for lunch. I didn't have a problem with them stopping for lunch but they were gone for close to an hour and did not notify us ahead of time they would be stopping so we were wondering where they were for an hour- we were getting charged for their drive time! When I mentioned all of this and that it should be deducted from the bill at the conclusion of their moving session, the leader of the group argued with me that they only took a 15 minute break the whole day (which was obviously not accurate). I called the company to remediate this. They told me they would check the cameras and driving log- never heard back. Followed up 4 times by email- also never heard back. What a scam of a company. Do not use them unless you want to pay double what they originally quoted you.
