Horrible Experience with Moving Company

This is my first time leaving a bad review. I had a horrible experience with this moving company. I got a quote for $129/hr but when I called, they said it was actually $139/hr. This price inconsistency is crazy and should have been clear on the quote. They also claim to price match, but that's a lie. I found another company that offered $109/hr (I only called Cheap Movers bc it was literally right next to me and I thought it might be an easy job for them) and when I asked them to match it, they said the lowest they could go was $119/hr but not right now as the lady on the phone told me that they prefer and is only looking for customers who pay more at the end and beginning of the month. The lady I spoke to had such an attitude and was very unempathetic. I’m a college student just trying to move to a storage room 2 minutes away from them and is only moving within a 2-mile radius (the job can be done in less than an hour as I didn’t have any large furniture), but she didn’t even care. I even asked her if it was possible to tell her my location which is literally 5mins away and moving to a storage room next door to them, she didn’t care at all and didn’t even bother to listen or ask for the address and continued to explain to me how they charge a higher rate rn and only save dates for customers willing to pay more. I also just saw their response to bad reviews which started a lot with “there’s two sides to a story”, at the end of the day, yall were not professional, gave me different prices, and cared less about the people and more about money. I really hope u guys don’t continue business this way bc being empathetic and when u care goes a much longer way in building a company as well as relationships with customers. As for the lady who was unpleasant on the phone, I hope u gain empathy and understanding for other people’s situation (I called 5 companies before them and this was the only one that had an attitude and didn’t care).
